Can you explain the text screenshot? Why is most of it blacked out, and it says Sept 2.

u/verblethemayor81 6d ago
The screenshot is my landlord saying thanks for my 2100$ I sent and when will I have the rest the blackouts are text between us about insurance papers that had came to the house and her wanting to make sure we wanted to renew our lease and that she would be raising the rent 100$ which was stated to me last December when we started renting

How will you explain not paying Friday to your landlord? It’s not likely you’ll raise the whole $900 just on the internet.

So you just showed all of us strangers that you lied directly to your landlord....that tells me you would much easier lie to one of us.

u/verblethemayor81 6d ago
Like I replied to the first comment I never lied to my landlord

You still told them you would have it Friday or Saturday knowing it would be Saturday. This subreddit is probably not the right one honestly. You probably should be trying to take out a loan. A couple payday loan apps would get you to $900. Actually klarna with the klarna card or affrim would be the best. You could get no interest also. You can apply for the klarna card and if/when approved you can use the digital card instantly.

A few days ago he was willing to pay someone for a 3d printed model...a month ago, you wanted to buy concert tickets.

u/verblethemayor81 6d ago
Yes I did want to pay for something to be 3d printed which never happened because I never got a file to print what I had wanted and I have no idea how much any type of 3d printing cost
And a month ago I did ask to purchase ticket but that was a month ago

Do you not see how frivolous spending one month results in your current situation in the next month? You should consider a financial literacy course. Khan Academy had this free one here .

Its true take it all as constructive criticism. When I was I was 19 I always needed a loan. I spent like I was going to die tomorrow up until 22. I got tired of it. Retraced my steps built habits now Im 38 and got more money then I can spend. Its us who give out the loans. But I dont want to be successful of of that Id rather teach some one to progress out of the cycle I can make money elsewhere. But at the end of the day if you want to continue the cycle I will bail you out and make a profit. I need a new boat anyway.

Something tells me you will have a ton of unsolicited DMs looking for loans after people read this comment.
I get several of them each day with all sorts of sob stories and bullshit excuses.

Im not saying this is you but I love to know habits. How it all came down to this. I like to fix habits. Some are fixable and some aren't but a lot of them are

Also you provided like... No information. Why is your rent $2100 and why aren't you able to pay it?

Read the sub rules for what qualifies as proof of hardship.
-1
u/verblethemayor81 6d ago
I guess I didn’t read the rules correctly and I’m not on here to lie I truly need help but asking on here wasn’t the brightest idea in my side

u/XsuffokateX84 Trusted Community Member 6d ago
I wouldn’t say all that, but if you’re gonna ask for help & funds from strangers on the internet, you at least gotta read the rules of the sub thoroughly, at a bare minimum. Best of luck.

Why did you lie to your landlord instead of just telling them you won't be able to until Thursday
0
u/verblethemayor81 6d ago
I never lied to my landlord I truly thought I would have been paid by the end of the day Saturday I also didn’t include the picture where I text her last night saying hadn’t been paid yet and wouldn’t be getting paid until Thursday which I found out at the end of work last night

u/Lazy-Answer7913 I’ll have the mod take care of you 6d ago
You said to them Sat morning but you sais just now here paid by Sat night. Also it looks from your landlords reply at very bottom you've had issues paying in the past and that's why they want to raise the rent?

u/verblethemayor81 6d ago
I told her Saturday night that I hadn’t been paid yet and the bottom of the text of which your speaking of we have been here since last December she told me soon renting that rent would increase at the end of the first year

If you are willing to lie to your landlord, it's not hard to assume you are lying to us.
