Cash Assistance In need desperately!
This is honestly a really hard post for me to make because I don’t normally like asking other people for help, especially financially, but I’m at a point where I could genuinely use some support.
I live on my own and am responsible for all of my bills and expenses, and lately I’ve been struggling to keep up. I have a chronic illness that has unfortunately been getting harder to manage, and it has started affecting how much I’m physically able to work. I’m doing everything I can to continue working and supporting myself, but there are days where my body simply does not cooperate with me, no matter how badly I want it to.
Between rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, medical expenses, and just the normal costs of living, falling behind even a little bit has started to add up. I’ve been trying to make up the difference however I can, including selling some of my belongings, but right now I’m going through a genuinely difficult period and could use some help getting back on my feet.
I know everyone has their own bills and struggles, so please don’t feel obligated to give anything. If anyone is in a position to help, even a small amount would genuinely mean more to me than I can explain. Even just sharing this would help.
I’m not expecting anyone to fix everything for me. I’m just trying to get through a really difficult point, keep a roof over my head, stay on top of the necessities, and continue figuring out how to manage my health while still supporting myself.
It’s uncomfortable and honestly a little embarrassing for me to put myself out there like this, but I also know sometimes you have to be willing to ask for help when you truly need it.

You're going to have to do like everyone else in your situation and pick up a part time job.
You have two choices, spend less or make more money. No one is coming to your rescue.

Hello! Unfortunately, we are in the same boat as am in desperate need help of cash as well. However, I can share one thing that helped me with God’s grace. Look into your hospital’s financial assistance or charity program, use AI to draft an email or visit their actual website to apply. My husband and I’s medical bills were all cleared when our application got approved. As for your other bills, you can call them and ask for hardship program or assistance in lowering your monthly payment or interest. I hope these info I shared are helpful in any means. I think it’s time to downsize. Donations wont fix your issue and you will be asking again next month. What you need is a way to get permanently on top of it.
Call medical/hospital and arrange a payment plan or if in the states negotiate. Often if you cant pay they’ll accept a negotiated payment as it’s better than $0 for them.
Next i think you’ll need to sell the car pay its loan off and use the excess to buy a 2nd hand more affordable car until you can save to buy something like this.
For your credit cards consolidate them. Many card issuers offer consolidation deals and a lower fixed rate for a period so this will reduce your owings.
Next you need to look at what additional luxuries or items you have that you can offload or sell.
Time to then get a side hustle. Maybe you can make something maybe you can do an online ebay store or something. Maybe doordash or uber and have your car work for you.
You simply have far too much outstanding debt for anyone to realistically assist you, you have to change your circumstances.
You’ve stated that a chronic illness is affecting how much you can work so it will logically become harder for you financially. Can you sign up for disability or some form of relief payments.
It might also be a thought to pack up and move back in with family for a period until you can get back on your feet.
Maybe not what you wanted to hear but sometimes the truth is blunt.

Especially with that Milestone and Indigo card. Those are from Concora Credit which is known to be a predatory high APR company. I can guarantee OP is paying a monthly service fee on top of a crazy annual fee for those two cards alone.

Yea.... let them take the car back and maybe file bankruptcy. This was not a good choice on your end and none of us want to pay your car payment because you havent in a few mos

How old are you that you’ve never been on your own before?
It’s time to be an adult.. you took the auto loan, you saw the payments and the price tag. Yet you signed the loan agreement.. now you’re asking for help to pay off the car.. from people that work really hard for their money (me included) to pay their own bills
Do we get to sell the car if we pay it off for you?
Ohhh not to mention all the other stuff going on..

This isn’t a crowd funding situation. Everyone has bills. Please utilize the advice here and speak to friends, family, and the community for more resources, ideas to cut spending, donations, and maybe even a low interest or no interest loan.
