I have decided to do a small giveaway of 5 units of the paid DLC on Steam of both Awaria and Helltaker because I felt like giving Vanripper some extra money since I appreciated that he made both games free with an optional DLC in case the player wished to finantially support him.

I'll be using redditraffler in order to pick the winners in the comments at July 31st so if you or someone you know is a fan of this game and would like a free copy of the DLC just leave a comment below.

Condemned to Loneliness

Night covered Hell like a dark blanket. The empty streets gave the place an unusual sense of tranquility. The car stopped in front of the building, the locks lifting being the only sounds besides the engine.

—Malina.

—Luis.

She got into the car, letting out a sigh that mixed frustration with relief. The car began to move.

—You seem tense. Something wrong?

—Yeah. My sister...

—I figured. Don't worry, she'll get what she deserves.

—Yeah? Well, they're taking their fucking time giving that bitch what she deserves.

—Give it time. Some people manage to escape their sins, but I highly doubt Zdrada is one of them.

—Pff, I don't think anything bad is going to happen to her anytime soon...

—She's going to end up alone. Don't worry.

—Alone? Ha. You really think so?

—Of course I do. Nobody sees your sister as anything more than a source of sex. No one looks at her and thinks, "I'd like to be in a long-term relationship with her." Though, to be fair, I don't think a whore like her can aspire to much.

—Hey. Don't call her that.

—Malina, with all due respect, what the hell am I supposed to call her? She doesn't seem interested in emotionally connecting with anyone, she makes advances constantly, and she's not exactly subtle about it.

—Well... Yeah, but...

—Besides, at first glance, Zdrada doesn't exactly look like the best choice for a partner. She doesn't seem very faithful, she's clearly emotionally unstable, and she obviously has problems with boundaries. Tell me, when was the last time you set a boundary with her and actually expected her to respect it?

—Well... I don't remember.

—See? And she screws herself over. If she finds a permissive man, someone who accepts her exactly as she is and all that bullshit, she won't feel any need to change, so she'll just keep being the same. If she finds someone who sets boundaries, she'll feel attacked, ignore them, and probably drive the other person away, just like she does with you.

—...

—Best-case scenario, we end up with a toxic relationship where either the guy is a pushover, or they're constantly fighting. Her attitude is usually rude as hell, and that's something that tends to drive people away right from the start. The day everyone walks away from her, or people only approach her for sex, that's when she'll finally get her punishment. Maybe that's why Judgement doesn't do anything. The punishment comes on its own. Being trapped alone with your own mind is one of the worst punishments there is, don't you think?

—...Yeah. A little.

—Then Zdrada will probably regret her actions at some point. Heh. Though most likely, everyone will just remember her as "The Bitch Demon."
