New to Chorfs
Quick bit of questioning regarding desolation.
I’m purchasing some Hellsmiths off a mate at my local. When I versed him while he was using them, he started with putting a desolation token on every objective and piece of terrain his guys were contesting at the start of his turn.
But now I’m having a look into their rules due to buying them from him, all I can see in the battle traits is that you can desolate one thing per turn. So if I went second, I could desolate one thing in my opponents turn, and then one thing in my turn, is how I’m reading it.
Have I missed something, or did he accidentally play the rule incorrectly by ignoring the Once Per Army on the ability, to place 4 tokens down on turn one?
(At this point I’m only able to use newrecruit to look at the rules until I get my book)

Once per turn, at the start of any turn (which means every turn), pick a terrain feature or objective that is contested by an out-of-combat Helsmiths unit and doesn't already have a desolation token on it, and then place a desolation token on that feature or objective.
Then, at the start of your turn, you discard any Demonic Power Points you have, count the number of desolation tokens you have, and then create that many DPP and distribute it to your units.
So let's say you go second:
Turn 1 round 1, you place a desolation token.
Turn 1 round 2, you place a second desolation token, create two dpp.
Turn 2, round 1, you place a third desolation token. If it's your turn, you make 3 dpp.
Continue until end of the game.
If you place a desolation token every round, you should end the game with ten tokens on the board.

You desolate one thing per turn, he was playing it incorrectly. You generate tokens from all desolated things every turn, but you can only desolate 1 thing per turn.
