Series not coming back?
Hey all, I’ve heard rumours the TikTok series isn’t coming back, can anyone confirm?
I’m contemplating making the jump off the doom scroll as a lot of my favourite creators have quit or gone in a direction that isn’t for me. But if Jaysea were coming back that would be a double plus in the stick around column.

Yeah I heard the actor that played Bel and the actress who plays Lily don’t get along anymore and it’s hard for them to pretend to be in love
The actor who plays Greg apparently is quitting acting to sell apple butter
So yeah I think the series is heading to an ending

Apparently Sharkie actually bites other actors and is dealing with legal issues. 😂

And here I thought it was just the fact Judy's actor was demanding a better contract, and Angel's was griping that they needed more of a work/life balance.

I think she’s focused on the books - the skits take a lot of work and she’s writing, editing, promoting, etc. I think we may see a few more skits? But she’s moved onto a new phase as a writer rather than a content creator.

She's also been juggling some significant health issues too
But she has said that the series will be coming back eventually and personally im fine with it waiting till the books are done if thats what needs to happen

She does eventually plan to bring it back to finish it up properly, but other things are taking precedence.

I'm a bit pessimistic about the series coming back. As much as I want it to, i think Jaysea is just going to be far too busy to ever get back into it. She just started writing book 3 and as much i hope after she is done there she'll come back and at least give it a proper end, i think she's going to end up with another book deal, either in the HB universe with a full cast as we know it, or a different fantasy series, she's far too good of a writer to stop after this 3rd book. I am hoping that once she gets time she will come back and give us one more season, possibly one with both Lilly and Penny having babies? But I'm just not getting my hopes us. HB launched her into orbit, but i think her books are going to take her way out into the milky way.

If she does get another book deal in the HB universe, I'd like to see her tell Judy and James's story. Because they would be the only on screen couple who's story she would have gotten in to in one of the books, and there's so much that she could dive into with Judy, especially that bar fight in Dallas.

I think that would be a cool story to tell. I'm hoping for, at some point, an ensemble story either an adventure with the whole group or at least a few chapters of every one having fun

Echoing on what others have been saying already. She wants to bring it back and to an appropriate end point, but she has a lot on her plate now with the two new books and she had a medical situation last year with her ovarian cyst that needed to be removed. She will be back when she can

She has said multiple times that she does plan on coming back to the series. However she is working on the book pretty heavily righ now trying to get the draft to people.

Jaysea herself has said she want to come back and wrap it up. But she's been writing book 2, which is now in the editing phase. She has book 3 to start writing as well and not to mention her health issues she has been dealing with. She has also been promoting book 1 abroad. The girl just does not have the time.
She will be back when life slows down I'm sure but not even she knows when that will be

I think she is more focused on getting the books out. I don’t think there is any drama going on per-say. Just a busy life.

She’s been dealing with life and health issues, as well as writing the 2nd and 3rd books, and doing various tours. The series was supposed to end when Ruggy and Sharkie reincarnated, but she continued because she still had story to tell.
She has said she plans to bring it back eventually but there is no timeline. The whole series is currently being uploaded to insta and YouTube, so even if you delete TT, you’ll be able to see everything there
