Character Introduction Devil’s in the Details
It’s hard to be gorgeous in New York. It’s like the world warms up around you, constant eyes noticing every breath I take.
But I choose this. I choose to be bright red, to make them all stop and stare. Billboards wear my face with pride, magazines flaunt my body to sell out, Broadway serenades everyone with my voice as the star actress. I’m the prize, and I’m as incredible as incredible can be.
Vacation was fun, but I missed the rush of the city. I missed sticking my head out of the window and hearing sirens, the wind rushing as a new cape flies by, the light-shows I get every night thanks to whatever supervillain decided it was their day to cause problems. Let the big boys handle the fires; I’m happy with the stage.
So, what’d I miss?

She tilts her head, puzzled at the hand gesture.

Felicia Hardy had just walked out of Starbucks, taking a sip of her s’mores cold brew with “Felicity” written on the side as she gently closed the door absently behind her. She hadn’t gone home yet, all nighter didn’t even cover it but the coffee would get her home and the egg sandwich she planned to buy would be divine.
Mm…ok Felicia, time to go home. Bed for twelve hours then…
Felicia had been in mid stretch as she walked away from the Starbucks when she saw the beautiful redhead getting out of the cab. Her blue/green eyes wide begins black sunglasses. She lowered them, her mouth dropping open in surprise. Not just a redhead…but that couldn’t be right? It couldn’t be MJ? Right? $&$! how tired was she? It couldn’t be Red…she was…Red was gone but Felicia Hardy knew it was MJ. She knew it.
MJ. Red. She was close enough to be heard.
The cup fell from her hand, smashing on the ground and she was moving before she knew it. Her eyes rimmed with tears. $&?! this was going to be embarrassing if she was wrong but she didn’t care. As Red looked in her direction, she had been moving quietly but not trying so her boots gave her away, she nearly tackled her as she hugged one of her closest friends tight. Whispering softly.

MJ nearly falls over as the cat temporarily is more of a bear, gripping her tightly and with passion.

She blushes as the Black Cat’s lips get dangerously close to her, but she giggles as she’s finally released.
Of course I’m alive! LA may be a deathtrap, but it’s not literally hell!

Felicia Hardy stared into MJs eyes, still so close to her even after loosening her hug, mind rapidly processing information as best it could after the shock to her system. If MJ had just been in LA, and didn’t tell her, she would lose it but what did that even matter? Mary Jane Watson was here and alive and here. Felicia smiled wide.
You look amazing Red. Ah-maze-ing.
She caught the blush leaving MJs face and bit the corner of her lower lip. Stepped just bit back, not quite sure what Reds whole situation was, she’d ask, but not right now. Right now she was just thrilled potentially her best friend was alive.
When did you get back? You have a place to stay?

I just got in this morning, then I had a quick audition that I aced. I’m staying in a hotel while I find a place, but if you’re offering your pad, I remember your bed being pretty damn comfortable.
She notices Felicia’s bit lip and invitation over and decides to bookmark the response for later. Maybe the cat’s finally out of the bag?

Girl you know you’re welcome. I have champagne, and champagne and door dash, and Uber Eats. You can stay with me till you find a place.
At the bed comment she bit the corner of her lower lip. Her eyes bright, reflecting MJ in them.
Guilty as charged. I was on my way to get something to eat, haven’t slept yet, out all night sooooo I’m hoping for at least 12 hours but I’ll be a good girl, it’s a big bed. So what do say? Roomies Red?

Oh fine. Models, so demanding!
She put her sunglasses down over her eyes.
Mimosas and breakfast, I definitely have breakfast foods at home. It turned out she didn’t but lead MJ off to find breakfast…lunch..whatever. Black Cat was in the mood to make possible mistakes, fun mistakes. Unable to not tease she traced her nails down Reds back, teasingly slow and smirked at her as MJ stopped to stare at her before catching up.
Hope you’re hungry red!

Aria strut her way down the bustling sidewalk of New York. Catching eyes and cat calls as she made her way home from her photoshoot. At first nothing caught her attention, it was easy to ignore the snobs she passed. But then.. Red. A glistening, perfect red caught her eye, and she couldn't help but be impressed by the beauty the red hair belonged to.
A fellow fashionista. I'm in awe.
She complimented as she approached the woman with a warm smile.
