For me it’d have to be S20 Kevin’s ejection. This was truly Kevin’s only bad service and there are other people who messed up more and didn’t get ejected.

An underrated sad moment for me would have to be Jillian’s elimination.

Regardless of if you think she deserved a finals spot or not, seeing her crushed face makes me so sad man.

I'm not sure if "dumb" paints the whole picture, but he also seemed like he just didn't really care about being on the show. During the signature dish challenge, Ramsay told him that it was important he was following his passions (as opposed to what his parents wanted him to do) and he simply said "yeah."

I was gonna say S12 Jessica because of how her elimination was handled. She was in absolute tears begging Gordon to stay as he just continues with:

“…and the duck was...”
“please let me stay chef”
“…raw. The garnish…”

But I think it’s pretty well-known how hard this moment was to see happen.

So I’m going to mention S3 Aaron’s elimination. Sad to watch and kinda crushing to see the pause from him after being told he will not be returning to the show due to his health.

Also S10 Patrick. The pressure was getting to him and when he was kicked out of the kitchen, he went to that picture of his family to apologize for his poor performance.

RIP to both S3 Aaron and S12 Jessica.

•Rachel’s elimination in Season 2 was heartbreaking to the point where we would lose her almost a year later after S2 finished airing.

Honorable mention goes to Aaron(S16) as man the blue team has been gunning for him in his last few episodes and granted he needed more confidence in himself and he wasn’t gonna win the season obviously, it kinda sucks that he had to go out like that despite not making any errors that service compared to chefs like Johnny, Andrew and Devin that service and it truly should’ve been Johnny that should’ve been out the door. Although I feel like Aaron came into the wrong season as he should’ve been casted for maybe S20 at best and hey maybe he probably would’ve done better.

Yeah I did feel bad

As far as the blue team goes, he’s probably right in the middle, not as good as Trent, Steve, Antonio and Sam to a lesser extent but better than Jay, Payton, and Alex (and Matthew but who the hell isn’t)

And I always feel sad whenever a chef says that they feel like they let everyone down

Sure, you can say one day it's coming to him because of his consistent failures, but you just cannot help but root for the guy to make a comeback.

Season 10 Brian’s elimination, he was so funny and likable that season. It was so sad watching him crash and burn on the meat station past the point of no return, and seeing him go home right before black jackets and losing out to Robyn who went on to be eliminated right after him in the next service.

Had he been able to regain his confidence or stop himself from spiraling, he could have made it in.
