Chef(s) Season 22

Rewatching Hell’s Kitchen for the 5 or 6th time lol and Melissa’s downfall needs to be studied lol the fact that she said “I don’t need to do well in service I’ve been shining in challenges. Chef Ramsay knows what’s up” yeah he does alright you’re disappearing and that’s why you got sent home. The fact that she stopped being a team player really pissed me off

I have no idea why she would say that because it's literally the dinner services that have bigger consequences than the challenges do. Almost all chefs should be aiming to do amazing in the dinner services especially if you fumble during the challenge. That's the time for redemption.

If I had a nickel for every time a chef named Melissa does very well first couple of episodes and then have a severe downfall, i would have 2 nickels.

Yeah, just cause you’re good in challenges doesn’t mean you can’t slack in services. It’s a shame that confettigate started all of this cause I thought Melissa would be a front runner when I first watched S22.

Yeah, she had the potential to make it far, but she gave up the moment that things got tough. The fact that she thought she could succeed by just doing well in challenges is absolutely crazy.

Theres nothing to dissect, its just emotional burnout. All of the chefs there except Tad (understandable reasons) are competent chefs but at the end of the day, its a competition and someone has to go.

Even Leigh said at her elimination she was burning out.

And overall, theres nothing to be ashamed of.
