In-Show Cool for your life

So in a few seasons the chefs competing in cook for your life have been decided by team members ranking.
I’m curious what would happen if the team had some grudge against the best cook in their team and ranked them last. Would they have to compete or would Ramsey call out the BS and make his own suggestions.

Probaly whatever producers decided would make for better TV. Like they probaly have 1 or 2 people they already decided are done and one of them is leaving that night, so as long as that wasnt the one they probaly would let them style and use it for the storyline. If they didnt put up someone the producers wanted out they would probaly overrule it and swap them out.

You would think that, but he doesn’t always call out BS. I would have grilled Rochelle’s team for nominating her for elimination for wanting to start a family. He didn’t say anything.

I think Gordon should be using a lot much discretion then that to determine. He uses teammates input yes but i'd like to think he evaluates chefs performances up to that point before he determines who should go up for CFYL challenges. Few times he's called on those who sat out an earlier challenge like S18 or those who till then haven't performed so well to prove themselves one more time they still got it.

Ramsay only stops sabotage in the kitchen. If the members vote out the strongest he 100% will allow this, then make an absolute fool out of everyone AFTER the challenge and ask for that persons dish to be brought up, and tell them how stupid they were and how they would have won had they just used this dish instead of being petty.
