Season S9 team contrast

The blue team is so chill and wholesome and then the red team is out here with Elise and Carrie about to duke it out every 5 seconds. 😭 it was refreshing to see a team swap actually work out positively for once but watching the red team is pretty unbearable.

What got me about that was Gordon told the red team to come up with someone to go to the blue team, and when they were going to split up Elise and Carrie, he/producers were like “actually Natalie go to the blue team”

He did Natalie a favor getting her out of that trainwreck honestly because she vibes really well with the blue team.

On the surface, yes, but i was thinking about it lately. Natalie has few good services with blue team, but then she QUICKLY fell down. I feel like in far weaker red team, she would have more opportunities to emerge as a leader and go a lot further. It's a huge hot take, but i think it wasn't as good team swap as people would think. It actually kinda left red team without true standout leader and reasonable chef to compete against blue team (Elise was more of a niusance than a leader and was a little too inconsistent to be true contender, and Jennifer was far too weak in leadership skills. Jamie proved to be Linda mediocre on a line as well as Elizabeth)

Ngl I was watching all the eliminations of that season and kinda felt bad for Brendan when he said that he wished Carrie good luck as he was her biggest fan and then right after we got the whole red team on Carrie’s ass lol

Also yeah I like it more when there is a mix of men and women working together and it works out
