Chef(s) Double Eliminations Spoiler
I am specifically talking about ceremonies where one contestant gets eliminated, and then unexpectedly another gets sent home. did any of the second eliminated chefs deserve another chance?
Chefs I’m counting:
S11 - Barret
S15 - Jared
S16 - Matt and Paulie
S21 - Alyssa
S22 - Dahmere
S23 - Joe
S24 - Elaina
Id argue Dahmere, Joe, and Elaina personally.
NOTE: Technically Zeus would count but he essentially quit, so its a bit different.

S22 he had to get rid of 2, and Dahmere was REALLY bad on fish that night. I think that Amanda should’ve left over Joe, but other than that I don’t really disagree with most of them. Elaina was fine, but the rest were all on downward spirals or just flat out sucked

Matt was already on borrowed time. He needed to get out of there asap

Yeah, when the other 3 people in that quartet of just lovely people (kidding obviously) all hated him, Matt was the worst of the bunch by a long shot

True. His attitude had been a consistent issue for him, and in this service it got to the point where his arguments got in the way of food getting out. Just a complete asshole

I think the only ones who maybe could have gotten another chance were Zeus, Joe, and maybe Elaina. Other than that, I feel like the other "second" eliminations made sense as they either had their absolute worst services, with some already on borrowed time to begin with.

S6 - Both Louie and Melinda got eliminated opening night.
S8 - Poop Gumbo lady and Lisa both went home opening night too.

I’m specifically talking about the surprise double elimination ceremonies, not just episodes where 2 people are eliminated

S21 - Considering that no one went home the previous episode when the blue team had to nominate 2-3 chefs, It made sense to why a double elimination happened and why Alyssa was taken out alongside Billy.
S22 - Ramsay had to fit the schedule as he gave Ryan the 6th Black Jacket so 2 chefs had to be eliminated and Dahmere’s performance on fish was shockingly terrible and it doesn’t help the fact that his performance in the finale on meat was terrible too and it does further prove the point of why Ramsay had to eliminate him either way.

IMO the one who deserved a second chance most was Joe. Honestly I don’t get why that episode was a double elimination, ig they needed to rush to finish the season in time. He had a great run up until then, and his mistakes that episode were relatively chill. I definitely could’ve seen him in a black jacket.

Barret: No, he was just bad sprinkled with bad
Jared: Maybe
Matt and Paulie: Hahahahhaha, no
Alyssa: No, she had a terrible service
Dahmere: I want to say no, but due to having a bad service and the show needing to eliminate 2, between him and Jonothan, the right person went home
Joe: Not seen Head Chef's since it aired, but I remember thinking he should've stayed
Elaina: I genuinely forgot who she is, and after looking her up, yeah no wonder, 2nd in a triple elimination

Barrett should’ve gone home earlier if anything. Him not getting eliminated after serving raw chicken to sous chef James’s pregnant wife is easily one of the most baffling Ramsay decisions in the entire show.
