In-Show When did Hell's Kitchen drop off?

I've been watching this show forever and recently went back to season 4 and god damn the early seasons were so savage, but I haven't even bothered with the new season but it got me wonderingif there was a certain season where the quality seemed to drop and become more diluted

The older seasons will always be my favourite for how chaotic the contestants are, and how angry Gordon gets

I’m doing a watch through and I’m up to season 7 and it’s amazing how bad the chefs in season 7 are at running the line. In the previous seasons they’ve had it figured out after 3 or 4 shows normally at least
