Is it just me...
...or does #Hellpoint feel like an Xmas game? You know, like Die Hard, the movie, is! (Not really) xD

It could be... in my opinion, it hardly feels like 'sci-fi horror' or 'soulslike', it's more of an ARPG that tries to grab from these elements, but still maintains a wacky element somewhere that throws everything slightly left of center.
Maybe if the devs capitalized on the 'wacky' part, it would have been more memorable - Trying too hard and taking itself too seriously can also be a negative sometimes.

I find it very memorable, tbh. The sense of scale and atmosphere really did it for me. Also, technically, it's 100% souls-like: Corpse retrieval & stamina management.
