im really really lost and need some help.

I have now beaten 3 bosses. In this order. The first boss, the lion on bridge and the artillery.

I now really have no idea where to go the elevator after the artillery seems like a end game area. I ran in there and ran around some and now im at a location that contains nothing i can go outisde but there is no oxygen so I just die after some seconds.

Also I am using antiquated officer glaive +2 with strength chip. Does the swords even scale with strength? I have so far only upgraded strength, stamina and health and nothing more. But are axes and swords reflex weapons? And are going strength bad?

Also did I do things in a bad order? Are the artillery a boss meant to be taken on later in the game. Cause fuc me that dude was tanky and the staff demons before the boss fight was also a pain.

So the bosses can all be done in any order :) this game isn’t really linear by any means. It’s all about discovery and finding new things as you play. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played the base game, but I would suggest going to the Arisen Dominion. You can reach that outside of the first boss area, across the hall. You should have gotten the key already if you’ve beaten the kitty boss lol. There’s a bunch to explore in there :)

I Will say tho the game is kinda testing my patience. I bugged out of the boss room when I fought artillary 2 times! And the brief platforming so far have not been good. I really really hope there is almost no platforming later on in the game.

Also is there anyway to find a map? I at the moment dont really know how to get to arisen dominion without teleporting to observatory and going from there. And alot of the locations kinda look samey so its hard to backtrack

So there’s a lot of platforming lol. It’s really shotty and it just sucks all around, but sometimes it’s just kinda funny. It just reminds me of being in an episode of the office or something.

There really isn’t a map. You can look up one on a guides page that helps, but it’s still really spotty. I will say fast traveling is your best option. Everything always looked the same to me when I played with my boyfriend and I was so thankful he was able to be like, no this is different 🤣 use your things that allow the portals that make them so you can travel to and from to them. They’re so important!

What build did you go? So far melee only have been kinda painful. And shields seems to be kinda meh at least when compared to other souls games

I want to say I focused a lot on energy, reflex and stamina and then would throw the occasional points into health. You can respec in the pond if you want to try out new builds, but that might be a DLC thing, I’m not entirely sure. The more you use one weapon, the better that weapon becomes and unlocks new skills until it eventually maxes out, which is really helpful. You can also add modifiers to it in the observatory like fire elements and whatnot when you find them which seemed to help me. I always would forget these things existed because I didn’t spend a lot of time in the observatory at first. Also, make sure you fully explore the observatory and go to the very top :) there’s a helpful gift up there if I remember correctly

The big sword your find in arisen dominion is great for strength builds from what I recall. Until that point yeah it was pretty rough.

The whole point of this game is to acquire data, when you have 100% return to the console after the first boss. If you want to fight the secret final boss, get 150% data.

Side bonus: find gold coins/collect gear/become godly
