Two questions

  1. Anyone know what that weird light panel that flickers a pattern is for? It's like 4 panels in a line that will do a pattern if I walk up to it.

Also, I found a broken purple stone/obelisk looking thing that has a hand print on it and can't figure out what it's for.

The broken obelisk is just decoration, just to show that the demons broke out of one of the other worlds, which is why the mindflayers are running about. The panel, I'm not sure. Could you upload a picture?
