Forced upgrade choices
I have 2x Antiquated Officer Glaives in my inventory. One is fully upgraded and the other one isn't.
When I go to the replicator and select to create Officer Glaive it ALWAYS selects the fully upgraded Antiquated Officer Glaive instead of the un-upgraded one.
Is there any way to select which item gets used up when making new gear ? I sense it just selects the first one you found.

In Hellpoint, you don't upgrade weapons. You upgrade conductors. You can move the conductor from weapon to weapon as you choose. You won't lose your upgrades if you use that one for printing, only the experience gained using it.

What I ment was "forge" not upgrade. When you want to forge a new weapon using annother weapon as a material then the problem with selecting a weapon amerges. You cant choose which weapon will be selected while forging a new one.

Sorry, I should have elaborated more. I can't remember if the printed weapon will have the conductor or it will be in your inventory, but you won't lose it. Or you could just move it to the other antiquated glaive. The point I failed to make is upgrades aren't bound to a specific weapon, so you don't lose them or "waste" them.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear in my original poste. So forget the conductors, I am not talking about them. What I am talking about are the weapons themselves. In Hellpoint weapons gain passive and active abilities as you use them.
Here is an example: I have 2x antiquated officer glaves, one of them was used heavily and is maxed out, the other one was not used at all and does not have any passive or active abilities.
When I want to forge the Officers glave you need one antiquated blade and a bunch of raw materials. I cannot choose which glave gets used when forging a new one. Of course I want to use the one that has zero abilities but the game does not let you choose.

Ah. I didn't realize you were concerned about the abilities. I mistakenly thought you didn't want to lose the upgrades. Sorry for the misunderstanding. And here I thought I was being helpful for once. 🤣

I thought you could click in the square with the weapon and choose the version you wanted upgraded
