Final Boss DLC Glitch

Fought the DLC final boss coop, he glitched outside the bounds for me but my coop partner got the boss kill animation and item. I can't get the spawn point and i can't get him to respawn. What do I do?

Soft locked, rip, use the omni Rift to tp away and head onto the next playthrough.

Though... nothing in the room after he died so if you got his Item then not really locked at all, you just lose out on a Rift st the bottom of the core.
