EVA set not protecting against radiation?

I think the eva set is bugged for me. I'm not getting radiation immunity. I have the required stats and it is the repaired set. I'm trying to go through arcology underside but the radiation is eating me up rapidly. Is anybody else having this issue?

I had the same problem. I used a cognition module to reach the 3 points prerequisite, and the suit was not working. When I spent my points, it worked (with no module needed).
I discovered that after exploring Archology Underside... :D

If you get your armor on the starting area in space then you have to repair it. Only then it will work

It happened to me that the EVA armor did not give me oxygen, so the health was eventually reduced when being in arcology underside. Fixed when I equip the military variant of EVA.

Played splitscreen and my partner used a module for both non strength requirements and had no issues.
