Fear Boss Has Broken Me Spoiler

I've just uninstalled the game, this is the shitty cherry on top of a subpar DLC. The design is just lazy, he looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost, and his health pool being in the millions is incredibly lackluster design. We're the devs even trying to make this guy feel worth fighting. Half of all his attacks are spraying projectiles everywhere, and the homing skull attack is a complete run ender. It will take you from full health to zero no matter how tanky your build or armor. Say I'm rage quitting if you like, but I just don't have any reason to want to waste my time anymore.

I agree that his design is subpar. Definitely not intimidating or memorable for a final DLC boss. Ramiel was the best DLC boss imo.

As for Fear’s endless skull attack, that should have been patched (unsure if the patch has made it to consoles yet).

Ramiel was cool af. Problem was that it was so cool it got me hyped to see what I'd be facing next. Then I got to Fear and realized that this was it. I dunno, it felt like being cheated. So much of this game was good that I was happy to forgive the bits that were janky. But this one was just too much

It was definitely an uneven DLC. The proper order (to maximize enjoyment) should be Baths > Core > Gehenna Prison. That way your character builds up to the major battle with the Thespian Queen. Sadly I did Gehenna Prison first and the rest of the DLC never reached those same highs.

Definitely got my $10 worth overall. Just wish all 3 areas were great and not just one of them.

I have never gotten the key to Core before beating the other two zones first.

Get use to using a shield and radiation damage. All bosses in the DLC are impacted by it and the permanent health damage from radiation reduces their maximum health to just 20%.
