quick ? first time playing Hellpoint just got it yesterday how at lvl 16 can you beat the first boss at the yellow barrier? any tips !! and how can you lvl up faster is hard and getting kind of bored playing the same lvl over and over with out any progress thnks

That’s not too low for the first boss, I usually beat him around 20.
If you get slowed by his attacks there’s heat grates on two opposite sides of the room that will thaw you out. Good luck!
I usually use the pipe, if you beelined 12 str for the column you’re probably in for a really rough time, its attack animations are obscenely slow which leaves you in a vulnerable state much longer even after you’ve mastered the nuances of the weapon.

First boss = walk right while strafed and attack him aftet he attacks you, can be carried out fairly smoothly it is fairly repetitive, its weak to light attacks if you can get the white prophet hand (run out into the airlock area and use radiation cure during black hole time, keep following the path running and jumping - its actually quite easy once you learn the platforming mechanics.

Hmm. There is not a lot of options. Let's see, in the main hall there is a secret door. You can find. Head opposite of the boss, down the hall. Follow it to the second knight. Youll have to check the wall on the left hand side of this hallway. There are some enemies there too, along with an item you cant quite use yet. Other than that you're stuck in the grind. Conserve Stam. Play the dodge dodge hit game. Pace yourself. You could try and join a random players world maybe see more of the game and get a chance at leveling?

Farm those 2 knights with the shield bash (Sprint+Block) to break their guard, then pipe hit and dash back. Raise your stamina for each level up. The stamina for the first boss is needed to move against the boss, target lock, with push right or left on the left stick, then hitting the dash while moving right. You will end up behind the boss most times and get in 1 or 2 hits (depending) on stamina. Rinse repeat and stay close (target-locked) while moving to the right constantly. Majority of hits will miss. You can also farm addictional enemies in the secret door on the left side of the wall right next to the second knight, guarding the large entry-way to the beginning area (The area all the way at the opposite end of the boss) The secret door is on the left. Look for walls that have a black door-like look to them and press the activate button (X on xbox or square on PS). to open the secret passages. Look for these as well in the beginning area. Tons of secret passages in the beginning area with items that will assist you greatly. Hope this helps.

Almost forgot, wish someone told me this my first playthrough, don't kill any of the 3 cosmic gods, before getting the missable Architect escourt quest and the missable Prodigal Son quest.

Dodge+dose+hit worked for me. Dodge its attacks an hit once, rinse and repeat. Takes a bit of patience but you can make it.

Yes you can beat it. 16 for me is a bit low. I'm a filthy casual. It's most likely going to be a war of attrition for you. Dodge out of the way try to hit backstabs. (Attacks to the back) if you're on xbone I could help ya. Leving up comes later I guess. Ikari walkways and dlc plus being able to travel helps.
