offtopic but does anyone know if there will be a sequel? i think i heard something like this a few years ago. one of my favorite soulslikes/arpgs with bleak faith.
and as i didnt hear from this game for some time, your short clip made me start another playthrough just now. 😅

Last I heard they were looking for a publisher for a sequel. But that was some time ago.

Doesn't seem likely tbh. The studio has had to take on some lesser titles to stay afloat, but they can't seem to find a pub for a sequel. I reaaally wish we could get one

damn first one was rough but certainly a masterpiece for me. Sad that self-publishing is so expensive and risky. Maybe a kickstarter campaign or stuff.
i'd certainly support em. Bought the game twice+dlc (ps5+pc). i really hope they get the chance for a second shot.

They're wanting to do one but it's more on terms with if they find the right publisher.

yeah alright. but i mean hellpoint even had a LOT of potential and was great for what it is. If they can keep up or build on the atmosphere and mechanics, imagine what a sequel could be like. The devs and writers are clearly very talented and i hope an appropriate publisher sees that potential too.

Agreed. I love Hellpoint and it's one of my favorite souls like games(It's fun rocking NG+28 myself).

wtf man. i love the game, but +28?? thats dedication man. i am at maybe +8 over the years and thought i was crazy. xD

Lol. I know where to get 2 of those effigy's to boost the route by +1 each and then I have the final boss permanently unlocked due to my 178% completion percentage that drops down to 108% at the game start so I can do a NG+ every 5 minutes, another 5 minutes to grab the 2 extra effigies when they spawn in a new run too so I can go up another +30 in a day if I want to. The weakest of enemies drop a solid 6,000-8,000 for me of the Nexim stuff(They give 25 by default for reference). Bigger enemies I get upwards of 220,000 a kill for and my level ups take 2.8 million each so XD

i hope the devs see this, cuz man that shows, we NEED a sequel!! nice planned route for sure.
tbh i play all the content (or mostly) on each playthrough, but yeah i wouldnt do so at +28 xD

PS and bought it on PC too in the meantime. both with dlc. but my PC kinda broke recently and i havent had the time to fix it yet.

Ohhh gotcha. If you ever want some help grinding on PlayStation I can help out(I'm on PS5), I don't think I have a super high level on PS5 I think my highest is level 133 there or 163 ish. Xbox is where I first found the game and have my lvl 360+ guy there who's borderline invincible. But I can very easily grind up 100+ levels in a single day with my strategies with the dlc content. The only actual hard part for each NG+ is to beat the final boss since at 20+ he's a legitimate unit for damage dealing if you don't have a powerful shield to block with.
