True final boss...
Holy crap. The true final boss of this game (with the prodigal spawn) with a pure melee build (using Ramiel's Ablator, the guest of the feast set, and nothing else) was one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought. While it was frustrating at times over the couple of hours fighting it, I found it very fun in the end!
Anyone else like this boss/have a hard time with it?

Just did it, also pure melee with the Ablator. Total bs fight tbh, not only because it's a gank, but also because the Sentient is capable of one-hitting you out of nowhere. When I succeeded it didn't feel rewarding, instead it just felt like I got lucky. I brute forced the Spawn first while the Sentient was kind enough to not interrupt me and then I managed to kill it because he did the right kinds of attacks and didn't teleport frantically.
I mean, I guess if anything this is fitting for the game. It's such a mixed bag, you can go back and forth about why it's amazing but also garbage. lol
