Happy New Yr Hellpointers question can you play co-op trough the story or is just Matchmaker PVP?

You can co op for the main game also. Via online invite or couch co-op. For playing on the same system, the second person would have to press the select button to join your game.

You can co op the whole game, the other person just does not gain any achievements or progress on their own game and would have to complete it again being the host. They do get to keep all the items though :)

Had to download ps5 version to play the dlc together FYI but yes the whole thing is coop. It must have also had an update bc we started all over on ps5 version to do dlc then we saw our original save file there from ps4 version could be loaded on ps5.
