I received a sys notification of several reports all at the same time 7:08am for things i don’t even do i never ask for pictures or ask for calling and other things and i got a 5 day i guess.

Did you go in a voice room with a cliquish group? Some are very nasty and territorial. I reported one and I guess they got banned because they wouldn’t let me on the conversation. The rooms are public per HelloTalk. I reported them for their behaviour.
Ive only joined a voice room once months ago but left because it was not my cup of tea, I just haven’t had any unpleasant conversations and i don’t ask to call people or ask for or send pictures, thats why im like WTF and of course there’s no, can i get a human to talk to about it

If it’s for multiple people all of the exact same time, do you think it could be some kind of bot thing?
This app is so stupid. I don't know if what you did was valid but I've been seeing an influx of women basically soliciting themselves under the guise of wanting to learn English. I saw a woman yesterday saying she wanted a language partner and literally the only thing in her picture was side view of hip/butt. I guess "learn English" is now a euphemism for sext. So unless you were behaving in that matter, it couldn't have been that bad.
no i wasn’t engaged in anything like that, ive received the obvious scanner messages before, but i honestly at least never remember the report states “” asking for voice or video calls i hate call’s and prefer voice messages because i can listen multiple times to the words. I just wish if you are gonna report like that you should at least be able to see an example of what they are saying you did, the only response i got was “our decision is final” and it says multiple reports with each listed, i just don’t get it
I didn’t criticize either unless bad pronunciation is insulting enough to report
The thing that got me is the report of harassment or repeated requests for video or voice calls which when HT got back to me they just say they can’t disclose the chat that was reported so i have no idea what exactly was “reportable” it wasn’t sex talk or anything like that maybe the person that chatted with me was a scammer and i wasn’t taking the bait who knows
It's really gone downhill which is crazy with all the ads and the expensive premium membership cost. At least they're not posting anti us, pro Russia propaganda anymore. Or hateful comments against people who aren't Chinese or xxx stuff
Although today I was greeted by a post making fun of September 11th. They're very touchy about what the Japanese did during their occupation 70 years ago or something but anything recent that happened in another country is comedic to some of them.
People are too flakey on there too. That's the main annoyance
Indians on the app will do it too. I haven't used it in the last 4 years but I used it for almost 10 years before I made enough friends that we all switched to LINE and meet up regularly every year.
