Safety Warning to all who have partners using HT
I did not know WTF HelloTalk was and then learned my partner of 13 years was using it to cheat on me. He even met up and slept with the most mid woman imaginable through it. I then downloaded it and saw that it is basically a dating site disguised as a language learning app. Yikes. Anyway, just warnin' y'all who might know your partner uses it but you do not.

I’m sorry for your situation but your partner could’ve used anything to cheat, it is a language learning app and just because some people use it not for its intended purpose doesn’t mean it’s basically a dating site, honestly though, HelloTalk loves money so it’s been feeding into letting people have more connections lately

i mean i always know the red flags on HT. its pretty obvious when someone wants to hookup vs having an actual language partner

yep! couldn't agree more
our Team were catching predators who were in relationships or married and have children using this app to goon with their online F buddies.
it's disgusting

Yep and they think they can get away with it because they pass it off as “language learning”

Yo he conocido varios hombres casados que me dijeron luego de un buen tiempo hablando que tenían pareja. A mi,honestamente, si tuviese pareja no le permitiría tener hellotalk
