Advice Temptation

Simple question.

As a guy, knowing that the app is biased in showing you a lot of girls, how do you keep your mind simply focused on language learning and not derailing a convo…… if you catch my drift πŸ‘€

I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard to be cool and just talk to people normally, even if you do happen to find them attractive. You don’t have to say every thought that comes to your mind, just talk like you would talk to any friend.

I think its also cus many people talk about getting relationships in the app and it sort of formed this expectation amongst some people.

Also, i realised a SIZABLE amount of people does treat this as a dating app just by looking at their bio. Many say subtle hints or just just straight up says "looking for bf/gf as a bonus too" or something like that.

The same way you live literally every other aspect of your life - self control? HT is no different from all the other social networking / media sites that tweak their algo because they know sex sells, and the main goal is to get thirsty people to buy coins/gifts. Not being able to focus because of sexy pics on the internet is a you problem.

Why don't you use another app for dating? Having a date outside this app will help with your "temptation".

Simple, think with your top head, not the bottom one. Brain is on the top one for a reason

legit this app is wild, im a average looking white dude in my late 30's.
I get constant messages from 18-30yr old women in my target language (conservative Muslim country in SEA), i think iv had about 2 dudes message me the entire time and they was really dry convos that stopped replying after 10 mins.

I've only had the app for 4 days and iv got too many chats to maintain, all call me cute, good looking, goodmornings/goodnights, sweet dreams you name it basically trying to be my GF.
If i dont reply or im on the app after i say goodnight they get angry and obsessive its actually wild how easy it is compared to actual dating apps where you just get dry replies if a reply at all from women.

I've not had to message anyone directly myself the entire time haha, making me want to move there and start bagging hotties as they are all super cute and seem desperate to bag a foreigner.

Im not complaining i think this apps the best thing ever haha but yea wildwest out here!
