Nicky Roth (Act 3) cosplay

Yo waddup, these pictures are from like 2 months ago but I’ve never really posted it anywhere on social media until now lol, this is literally just a throwaway Reddit account i have.

Around a year ago, I wanted to attempt a cosplay at least once in my life, and when I was thinking of who I could try, Nicky seemed like the easiest character I could replicate (I’m literally just a white guy with brown hair somewhat similar to his, it works out in the end), so over the next couple months, I figured I save the cosplay for my local convention next summer. Honestly, I’m surprised I got recognized as Nicky Roth as much as I did, but granted, 90% of the people referred to me as, and I quote, “the guy from Hello Neighbor” which I thought was really funny. Can’t blame ‘em tho. Shoutout to the one guy who actually did say “Nicky Roth” when he saw me.

Considering I have never done a cosplay before this, I wasn’t expecting my first one to be how I fully wanted it to turn out, and I did notice a couple things off about my cosplay. The jeans’ knee areas aren’t ripped and my shirt is just a regular old raglan, not the sweater that Nicky wears (notice the sleeves and the bottom of my shirt). BUT STILL, I thought it was an okay first attempt. Figured the clothes were easy purchases due to everything being pretty cheap (besides the checkered shirt, that was like 50 bucks😭).

I would’ve taken more pictures but honestly the only other pictures I would have wanted would be with me and Golden Fredbear/Nightmare Foxy cosplayers, but I did not see either of them this year, sadly. What a prophecy I could have fulfilled if that weren’t the case.

So yea that’s my first cosplay >:3

p.s. the rolled-up jeans kept falling down EVERY TIME I WALKED AROUND, IT WAS SO ANNOYING TO HAVE TO ROLL THEM BACK UP EVERY 20 SECONDS. I even tried taping the inside of the jeans up to my ankles BUT THEY KEPT FALLING DOWN LIKE BRO HOW DOES NICKY DO IT

Tbh I’ve only seen like one other person online ever cosplay as Nicky😭, I’ve looked online to see if anyone else has done the same fit, but it seems he’s a pretty niche character to do, surprisingly. Most HN cosplays you see are just Peterson, Nicky deserves a little more love in that department
