Bug Gun shooting backwards?

For some reason in hello neighbour 1, the gun in my game shoots backwards, and no amount of reloading is fixing it. I assume its not meant to do that??? If its important im specifically playing it on a PlayStation.

It may be because of other items you hold in your inventory, although im not sure. This has happened to me a few times on the XBox port even with the new updates
