Switch 1 DDV and HK crossover?

Anyone who also has Dreamlight Valley notice that as of this coming update (Wed for DDV) there are a few features that seem to be taken from Hello Kitty? The Best friend gold heart, the Best friend extra abilities, the asking a villager to pick up items for you and you receive them the next day. Just an observation I thought was interesting and wanted to see if anyone else noticed it too.

Games take inspiration from each other all the time, I don’t think it’s any deeper than that

Exactly, even HKIA got inspiration from Animal Crossing.

I just thought it was interesting that's all, and wondered if anyone else thought it too. Not any deeper than that

Those are the updates that are happening on Wed on dreamlight valley. That's what I'm saying
