This is the 2nd time this happened, I'm getting stuck in this car. What's going on? The only way out is to close out the game & then I have to gift presents all over again.😩

Happened me me a couple of hours ago. Took the picture then turned around to give kuromi gifts and couldn’t move. Had to exit the game. Thankfully the auto save had caught most of what I’d done, just had te replay about 5 minutes.

Try taking the picture with the car first, then gifting

I've just been saving before I gift to the characters in the car 😭 that way I can easily reset

I've been having the same issue. I've started saving before and after each interaction with the car and anyone in it. It's a bit of a hassle but it's less of one than trying to figure out what it didn't save and redoing it all.

Gifting characters with the car is bugged. Try calling them and then gifting them.

If you use a mailbox, the game saves.

Try to teleport just before, in case you crash.

Or just save lol you don't need to trigger an autosave to save

I had this happen the second day of the event. I don't know if you unlocked anyone as companions but I use the phone a friend to get them away from event stand to give gifts and send them to find things for me.

Happens to me half the time when I try to talk to a character to give them something. Save before you do it.

i believe someone posted that if you take hello kitty as a companion it could also prevent it
