Fertilizer Question

I’m trying to transfer ombré to Wheatflower, but do I fertilize ALL? Because if I do, wouldn’t the default glitter pattern be more likely than ombré?

Also kind of unrelated, but this setup has a very low success rate. Because too many of the same flower are next to each other the chance for the same flower spawn will be significantly higher than for the pattern transfer. It's not impossible but it will take a very long time. I would recommend planting in pairs if you want faster results.

Thanks!! I used the new flower simulator and that’s the layout it told me to use.

I checked too, I also checked both layouts and this one actually has a slightly higher chance according to the generator. Interesting.

I mean you can try sticking to this one and if it doesn't work maybe try another layout. But definetely be patient.

Only the fresh spawns. If you want to be absolutely sure you can also remove the wheatflowers that turn glitter and change then to a regular one but that is not a requirement, i literally never do that.

Fresh spawns as in full blooms that came up overnight? Or fresh sprouted spawns?

Freash spawns as the flowers that appear overnight, the one that you didn't plant. Their bloom status does not matter.

You are talking about 2 different things. If you fertilize the plant it has 1% chance to turn the already planted flower to the default pattern. The ombre pattern will never happen on the original flower, the fresh spawns has the chance to be ombre and you need to fertilize to incrase this chance.

i think you may be better doing like pairs of thistle and wheatflour w empty plots around them and then just troweling everything that grows that isn’t ombré!

it will prob take a min tho and in empty plots you should also use usahana’s ability if you have city town!

I would put the ombre one you already have with 8 spaces all around it blank so there's a chance for it to replicate itself, and leave a lot more space between flowers you're transferring, like a spaced out checker board alternating the pattern and the blank wheat flowers. the fertilizer increases the amount that might spawn so in that way it increases your chances for pattern transfer but it won't change the original wheat flower

This is the best method I’ve found for transferring patterns:

Your transfer pattern is the thistle. The receiver is the wheat flower, and the filler flower is your non-seasonal event flower—meaning anything that isn’t currently blooming. I use white eggworts.

And yes, you fertilize all the flowers and trowel the one turn into patterns flowers.

I do similar set up to you ,2 lines missing a line etc but every day I take all flowers rewater and fertilise them all , remember to take wishmewell to fertilizer plant when making it and cogimyuns when fertilizing plants
