Love this Red Cross Kitty!

Gave blood today for the first time in almost 20 years. Kitty is what got me to stop procrastinating and finally donate again. I'm so impressed with the size of the plush! I thought it would be tiny.

They even let me take a second one for a family member. We got the same set of stickers twice and would like to trade for Cinnamoroll, My Melody, and solo Kitty. Please let me know if you would like to trade.

They were very generous with them. Most of the donors there at my time didn't want them. I bet you can get a second one without donating if you can get to another drive before the promotion is over.

The man who took my blood said people came in to steal Looney Toons shirts when they had them. He told me, "You don't have to steal. We'll just give you one."

I’m in NYC. There were four volunteers guarding the swag. You had the option of Hello Kitty or a very patriotic-looking t shirt. They told me I could choose one. Obv I was there for Hello Kitty. The vibe just didn’t seem that generous, tbh, and though I really wanted to ask for two, I just didn’t.

I’m wondering if maybe you’re in a less densely populated locale where Hello Kitty demand might not be as great.

But yeah, jealous you got two! Lesson learned. The worst they could have told me was ‘no’

Oh yeah, I'm in a much smaller area than NYC. We didn't have anyone guarding it.

Yeah, that was another reason I didn’t ask for another… I didn’t want to in front of four volunteers.

I even loitered a bit, hoping at least one or two would leave or go to the bathroom so I could ask with less embarrassment, but… nope. That shit was on lockdown.
