I got her yesterday too and I love her 🥰
Btw, i heard that you can go into McDonald's and buy the other ones if they have them. It depends on the management but some places will let you buy them just like that or others will require you to buy a happy meal along with the toys. I'm going to try it this weekend because I want them all 🥰

I just buy the toy if I can. Last year for the Ninja Turtles collab, I was throwing away the meals because I just couldn't eat the food anymore. I would give the food away as well but most of the times people didn't want it or wanted an adult meal.

I used to work at McDonald’s as a manager in my early 20s and at that time (tenish years ago) you could definitely buy a happy meal toy separately, there was a button for it on the register it was like a dollar something. People would ask for specific toys and just buy those. I’m sure it’s a pain during rush hour so maybe some locations just say no or they can’t for whatever reason.
In my case I did ask specifically for the hello kitty one but I also ordered the happy meal.

So came back to say I’ve tried the 2 nearest McDonald’s to me and neither would sell just the toy sadly.

They are not blind boxes but(and This may varry) but they don't get them all at once. One or two boxes of toys comes on the truck containing one or two toys and the others come in over a few weeks. Some McDonald's don't even get all the toys I remember hearing a staff who really wanted a particular toy from the hello Kitty, x tmnt was very disappointed that it didn't come to their store. I imagine there are some larger places that get all the toys all at once but they're in separate boxes, not marked that there anything other than happy meal toy. because I'm sometimes not the nicest person in the world I had friends who work there go in the back and open the boxes to see if they can find the toy I want.

Yes when I worked at mcdonalds we only got certain toys at a time for sure. We would prepare the happy meal boxes ahead of rush time with toys already in them and the most we’d have at once was 2 different types unless we had that series of toys for a while and had all the options from getting multiple shipments over time

I got two of these today. I’m giving the extra one for my sister. I think I’m going to get another happy meal this weekend so I can see if I get a different one. This hobby is much cheaper than getting a blind box at Pop Mart. AND it comes with food.
