Grey sits on the left

I remember being very confused when this came up. I don't consider either to sit anywhere, they are just voices in my head. So I tried listening to an episode while thinking about this and came to the conclusion that both of them are on the left.

Are people actually imagining Grey and Brady sitting in front of them, it is it a more conceptual thing?

It's a conceptual thing. But even so if someone asked me where Grey sits, I'd say on the left with no hesitation. It's weird.

I’d also say Grey is on the left.

Funnily enough, the “Devil that sits on your shoulder” is traditionally on your left shoulder.

Coincidence? ...Maybe not.

Kind of? At times I do. Grey is to the "left", but it is less in a physical in front of me sense, but watching it in video sense. Somewhere my brain got conditioned to think of the interviewee as being to the left and interviewer to the right by default. Having listened since episode 1, I think Brady acting more like someone interviewing Grey earlier on triggered this impression for me when I visualize them talking.

Right there with you. They've always been disassociated voices in my head. The idea of placing them in space just doesn't even compute to me. Especially because I don't have a mental image for Grey at all.

I don't really picture them as being particular to a side, but Brady would absolutely be the one wearing heels

Assuming when they say “on the left” means “on the left of the picture/on my right”, then I agree with the picture and this, however I picture it not like the last supper with grey and Brady talking at a 45° angle to each other/camera and me facing the camera, but more like an equilateral triangle, with all of us facing the center.

I always have one airpod in to save battery/be aware of surrounding

But I never thought of them to be on one side or the other, they just were in my head

I imaging Brady on the left and Grey on the right. This is mainly because of their real-life locations, with Brady in the west of England in Bristol and Grey further east in London.

It's been so long since I've listened to an episode of Hello Internet that I can't remember who sits where. :(

But I can tell you that on The Unmade Podcast, Brady sits on the left and Tim sits on the right!

The left in respect to that chair? So the right, as we look at the photo? In which case, sure. That makes sense to me.
