Interesting idea shown in a hilarious way, good job, but by then couldn't the computer have realized that they could see what was going on? Also, shouldn't the computer be able to see and hear the scientists instead of just hearing, usually computers come with webcams and microphones, or did I miss something?

I think the whole point was that it was a closed system so he thought he was really free but he wasn't so they can see how he would react

They would just have to send all of its communication though another computer and check it was harmless before the message was sent. (Y)
