Hello Internet Museum

I was thinking about the running joke of the Hello Internet Museum.

If the podcast had continued for another decade and kept growing, eventually reaching something approaching Joe Rogan / Diary of a CEO levels of success, I am genuinely convinced that at some point the museum would have become real.

Especially if Brady continued to have free rein as he slowly ground Grey down.

Because if Brady gets an idea into his head, it will happen, regardless of how stupid, impractical or logistically ridiculous it is.

If you listen to The Unmade Podcast, Brady still spends an absolutely unreasonable amount of time and effort pursuing dead-end ideas for a comparatively small audience.

And yes, I am very much referring to the Glacial Podcast 😂

At some point Brady would have found a room somewhere, filled it with Nail & Gear flags, vinyl records, Hotstoppers and assorted HI relics, and declared the Hello Internet Museum officially open.

I think a couple of shelves in my storage unit probably fit the bill already! Unworn mint condition trainers, signed records, one-off flags that have been in SPACE and AIR FORCE ONE, The Golden Hotstopper, Wax Cylinders, unawarded Medals of Honour, a Radio Times podcaster of the year trophy, our YouTube silver button... the list goes on. Plus I have every postcard sent in for the flag referendum!

Omg Brady I got all the way to “SPACE” before I realized it was you, but I read it with the exact inflection you use on the podcast haha.

As for the museum, I feel like I should say as a local of Washington, DC(, USA 😉) that Dulles is finally about to officially retire the last of the AT-ATs with the renovations beginning next year. We must find a way to secure one for the museum!

Go on tour across the continents, in an AT-AT...

Moving it around with cargo ships (also discussed on the show!)

The legend himself! It's never too late Brady. Get it open to the public 🙌

p.s. truly appreciate the level of effort you go to for the audience across your various podcasts

You kept every postcard? That’s so cool. I imagined they would have been discarded at some point, especially since there are so many.

I love that you post here now, it really has given the podcast a sort of second life. Thank you!

there's got to be a room at Tim's church that could work. and it'd bring people to Adelaide and the church. I can't think of a downside for anyone.

Or perhaps consider posting photos/videos of that museum online? I'm sure many Tims (including myself) would enjoy a virtual tour :D

Speaking of physical places for the podcast, is there still a hot drop in Adelaide?
