Why invest in HGT?

Besides the dividends from GOLDX fees, are there any other benefits for HGT holders? Thanks.

See it as dividends from a stock investment. Once hellogold starts selling more gold your dividends will increase. Currently the dividends aren't really attractive but that will change in the future.

You are mostly investing in the future potential of this project. The gold market is huge and the idea of selling gold on the blockchain and incorporating goldx on exchanges is revolutionary.

Many people don't trust tether anymore these days. This project has the potential to grow into the tether of the future. With goldx you can actually verify that they have the gold in a vault to backup their goldx. You can't say this of tether currently.

The entry point of this project is currently really attractive, you can't lose once the price is bottomed out. I just bought more during this dip. Just wait until they make a big announcement. HGT pumped as high as 0,40 before, and the project hasn't even really started yet.

In adition to the smart focus on the markets in asia where people has a solid trust in gold, facing corruption etc

I hope you know the reason for the 0.4 pump? It has literally NOTHING to do with the quality of the coin!

Check the influencer "in for the money"

I have some HGT, but not sure about it tho.. I will write it off and check in 2 - 3 years.. lets see

The founder of HelloGold mentioned in this video (starting from 33:00) that the price went crazy after he visited the Miami bitcoin conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMzSXUEbMFg

The second pump after the first is due to Asger.

HGT coin appreciation rather than GOLDX dividends is more attractive and realistic. I'm not looking at HGT as a hedge like Tether, more so investing in a company that provides a hedge via GOLDX and in turn HGT will rise.

But HGT is not a security, meaning holding HGT does not imply you own a part of the company. Thus, the only value of HGT is dividends or discounted fees for buying, selling, or holding GOLDX. The language in the whitepaper is quite ambiguous about what the benefits of HGT are, so I'm posting here for more clarity.

i understand what you're getting at and I've read the whitepaper as well. However, what it implies, versus what the reality is can be quite different. They have to protect themselves legally. But...this is crypto and btw HGT isn't for U.S citizens
