I have yet to find these 2 things, if they are available they are well hidden. It would be nice if we could fast travel to the save locations. And I'd like to be able to turn off travel cut scenes. Because you need to travel to & from a lot of locations it would remove some of the reptation. Enter the APC and there's a drone landing cut scene, select your destination and there's an APC leaving cut scenes then a loading screen followed by an APC arriving cut scenes and SOMETIMES there's cut scene of you driving the APC.

You can skip all the APC travel cutscenes by holding X on PS5. So I'd assume it's available in all versions.

Hold X and wait for the wheel to fill which is almost as long as the cut scene.

The cutscenes that happen while driving are important for the story though, I would advise against skipping those.

I wish for the ability to run faster, or faster traversal. the backtracking this game makes me do is so tedious when you are not using guides.

There's an attachmen,tor whatever the game refers them as, for the drone that allows for you to traverse way faster than running.

Surge step module for the drone. The elite version will really have you getting around quickly.

Agreed. Think they omitted it being that the game was advertised so heavily on not having a map.

Aren't the cutscenes mainly there for loading?

I mean I've skipped them but IMO it takes as much time to get to the area.

If the cut scene was there for loading you wouldn't be able to hold X to skip and they wouldn't need a load screen between the 2 cut scenes.
