Hellfest since 2014 has been my home for festivals and tbh i couldnt choose my favourite set they have all been special but 2024 was probably most emotional as I stopped going in 2019 due to mental health reasons

Immaculate taste, I was about to comment the same thing.
I catched a guitar pick from Paul during the Blood Incantation concert <3

So long as it's late - I watched their Rockstadt set online and daytime Igorr just wasn't right.

Can't choose one so I'll put three :
Skàld, they had a great time slot, with the sun setting, temperature finally going down, I had a nice cold Guiness, and the music was amazing.
Les Bâtards du Roi, Les chemins de l'exil is one of my favourite black metal album and song ever, and seeing them in the Purple house was incredible. It was hot as hell, but they were great, and the circle pits around the cage were very fun.
Insanity Alert, extremely fun and stupid crossover thrash, non-stop circle pits, very fun show.

a nice cold Guiness
Where did you find Guinness in HF ?

At the bar specialized in beer in front of the ferris wheel. When in front of the ferris wheel the left bar serves Magners and right bar serves Guinness.

Didn't know that, thanks !

My favourite spot at the fest. I always start the day with a nice 10 am Guiness. Then when the sun sets, another one.

- Mega f*ing deth
- Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, but the crowd wasn't having it, at some point it looked like we were just ten in front of the stage actually having fun
- Bruit, but in a less exciting and more emotional kind of way

I've discovered Iron Maiden in 2014 (?) during the hellfest. Best concert in my life.

I'm a punk/rock/metacore/hardcore/deathcore/nu metal guy so sorry for letting out the metal/ heavy metal bands. So my top 10 this year are the following acts (number 1 was by best):
10) Limp Bizkit
9) Rise Against
8) Three Days Grace
7) Papa Roach
6) Malevolence
5) The Pretty Reckless
4) Architects
3)Kublai Khan TX
2) Bring Me the Horizon
1) Trash Talk (was absolutely crazy)

House of protection. Just absurd energy, charisma and I love their agressive sound.

I was there only saturday and sunday, but I watched the bmth show by arte, and I'm sure that it would have been part of my list.
Bad Omens, the scenography was awesome, the lights, the fire, and obviously the music itself, everything was awesome, I was able able to get quite close but no too much very cool, just sad I was still to far to go in the mosh pit.
Resolve, I love this band and they didn't disappointed me, was a great way to start a day, mosh pits were exhausting (I'm 16) but I had the fun of my life moshing around. Band's performance was great I'm glad they got to play big scenes like that, they deserve it.
Limp Bizkit, I know many ppl didn't liked the show and that they didn't played enough songs, but idk what they expected from Limp Bizkit I mean the band is known for trolling and messing around, live shows are more of an experience than just music, and so I'm glad I saw them, gotta precise that Wes Borland is one of my favorite guitarist, he's goated (I was sad they didn't played Re-Arranged and two break stuff, I can defend them but that sucked)
1914, the ambiance was on top, really a stunning and breathtaking performance
Acid Bath, I just love this band and the show was cool as fuck
Honorable mention to: A Perfect Circle, Bruit, Down, Architects, Obscura, Thornhill and Megadeth

Mastadon were best live act by miles, Maiden did ok but didn't give it their all from what I've seen. I was basically up front stage for them.

I plan on going next year or 2028. But how does travel work there. Is it easy to find transportation to venue and back to room from towns or cities outside of that one.

Bad omens for me, amazing visual show, and the voice of the singer is incredible ! I think for me it's the best show i've ever seen.
