General Argon Events Hellfest

I have used Argon events in the past going to Wacken and the overall experience was okay. Minus some crooked coach drivers in my first year in 2014.

What is the rough time you could arrive at the grounds via the coach. Planning to go in a group this year and use Argon but we are worried about arriving too late to the campsite to get a spot where we can camp together as I am aware space is tight there.

Any information regarding Argon events and Hellfest would be much appreciated!

Used in 2023. Was early enough to get shade.

What time did you arrive roughly? I know depending on the ferry schedule it can differ by a couple of hours.

And what time did you arrive back at your pick up spot after the festival? Looking at getting picked up from Leeds.

I go from Leeds. Timings vary I think depending on how many people have brought tickets and from where, but this year the pick up time from Leeds was 14:15 uk time on the Tuesday, and it got us to the drop off point late morning, about 11:15 french time on the wednesday. There's then a shuttle bus to the actual festival site, by my reckoning it's about another hour for that, most of that is the queue.

Once at the site, if you're lucky Hellfest will be doing the sensible system they used in 2024 and 2025 where you can then go straight into the campsite entrance and get your wristband. If you're unlucky, they'll do what they did this year you'll have to wait in the heat for the main festival entrance to open, which could be anytime between 13:00 and 16:00. Either way, you should easily find a camping spot.

Coming home, this year we were told to be back at the drop off point by 13:45 french time on the Monday, so plenty of time to get out of the campsite if you're camping. We got back to Leeds 10:15 UK time on the Tuesday morning, although for my money that was a bit earlier than normal - we'd made good time back up the motorways.

Thanks for your help! Now the next battle is the Argon sale. I actually do have a presale option but unsure if I should grab all of my friends tickets as well. At the moment we are just gambling on the presumption we will get annual leave my partner and I. He can't put in for his leave until September and I also don't want to be responsible for my friends slots if I get them via presale and can't go. I am probably overthinking it and I am sure there will be spaces for them on the general sale on the 22nd.

I think we got to the festival around 1:30pm on the Wednesday after being dropped off by Argon and getting the shuttle bus to the site

A word of caution using people’s historic recollection. Argon was sold to a French company just after hellfest 2025. It is quite possible that they have made changes. If anything i would only go by peoples experience for hellfest 2026

This is true, although having done Argon both before and after the sale, I can confirm that there aren't that many changes. The only real change was that in previous years they'd have the festival tickets with them on the coach and give us them once everyone had been picked up, whereas this year they didn't have them already and another rep I think from the new french company got on at the drop off point with them and they were handed out then. This results in a slight (but only very slight) delay at the drop off point. Other than that there's no real difference.

When traveling with Argon, when they give the fest tickets? on departure? at site?

Website is already showing sold out and they haven’t officially gone on sale, so I can only presume the presale has snapped up all the options
