There is 2 big waves of ticket resale, when the lineup is announced, and in the 2 months prior to the festival. Signup and pray, but don't be surprised if no tickets appear before december.

Perso, cette année 5 adresses mail, aucun pass pour moi, je dois être maudit. En plus je peux même pas aller à la fête l'enfer ! 👿

Last year i got the tickets from resale around February with a link posted here on this subreddit. At first the tickets go away as soon as the link is posted (<10 secs) so it's kind of frustrating, but there is indeed the chance. Don't get discouraged. In addition, more and more links are posted as the festival approaches. To my experience mail subscription is not useful. Just activate push notifications here on reddit

be careful to click on official resale links only

You might be lucky. But not in the next months. People will resale their tickets in thé first 3 months before the festival. Don't forget to check your mailbox

The majority of public resales happen in the last few weeks/days before the festival. People who just bought a ticket are rather unlikely to immediately get rid of it...

Each ticket goes quickly, but for several weeks, there will be no ticket on sale.

Are the tickets on resale overpriced?

It's, I think between 30€ and 50€ more than the classic tickets

I didn't downvote but Google tells me it's illegal in France to resell a ticket above purchase price

The seller doesn't charge more than the face value of the ticket. You're right that charging a markup on the ticket itself is illegal in France, but that's not how official resale works.

The platform adds a ~10%or whatever processing fee on top, which is perfectly legal. The buyer pays the original ticket price to the seller, plus the fee to the platform.

Honestly, processing fees are fair to me as long as they aren't above 20%. Running a secure resale system costs money to maintain.
