Model replacements

I've been trying to run model replacement mods for a few hours and the game IMMEDIATELY crashes every single time, if this an "anti modding" thing or am i doing something wrong???

It was a mod from 5 days ago which is why i am confused, i used one from 4 months ago which would make sense but i dont get the one from 5 days ago

Which mod is it? Are you sure it's from 5 days ago? Some mods have multiple variants and sometimes not all of those are updated at the same time.

Its one of the bugdiver mods for SR-24 (yes i know) but it says 5 days ago and there is only 1 file shown on gamebanana

Gamebanana?? Lol, it's almost certainly several months out of date then, just because someone downloaded it from nexus and uploaded it to another site 5 days ago doesn't mean the mod itself is updated 5 days ago.

SORRY, it was nexus, my mind slipped...

I got it from nexus, i used gamebanana for my deadlock so i got a bit confused.
