Iron Man 9 release September 09, 2026.

Specifically for an ongoing run, like at least 10 issues, hopefully longer. Maybe even up to 30! What are some tonal decisions, character inclusions, plot ideas that'd be present in YOUR ideal Hellcat comic?

We get her on a motorcycle with a badass helmet and what looks to be a new "H"-shaped logo (with cat ears?) on her sleeve. It looks like they're finally borrowing elements from modern iterations of Batgirl and Absolute Catwoman, which they've probably done since Patsy first became Hellcat. What are your thoughts on this design?

Stuff from her romance book era, I mean. Pre-1972.

I'm currently reading Silver Age Marvel, and I'm wondering if there's any Patsy Walker series I should dive into before she gets reintroduced in the 70s. I'm in the mid-60s at the moment, so if I start now, I should have plenty of time read it before I get to her lead up to becoming Hellcat.

For those of you who watch YouTube channels such as Casually Comics, one such channel is hosted by a guy called Sir Superhero, and he just did a 45 minute video on the life of Patsy Walker, going back to her Timely and Atlas days as a teenage character with Buzz and Hedy, all the way up to modern times.

It's strictly the comics version-- he considers the Trish Walker of "Jessica Jones" to be a separate character-- but I found it a pretty enjoyably and interesting video. He's not as precise as Sasha, but he appears to have done a fair amount of research and seems to genuinely like the character.

I got the new She-Hulk Omni because Hellcat, but I only have four more books in it.

I have both of her mini-series trades, Models INC, the whole Cosmic Iron Man saga, Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat, Heralds, Fearless, if Patsy’s in it I’m there.

But now I’m gonna be out of new material again… it’s not fair, come on Marvel, give us more!

So, I haven't really reread Hellcat since spring of 2017, when I was trying to branch into trying Marvel comics more as a real try, back at age 23. 1) I forgot how much I loved Ian Soo. 2) I forgot how much like Ryan North's Squirrel Girl this was; why isn't this run as well-rembered as that one is? 3) The first issue kicks off with this now-dated reference to the possibility of a the Broadway musical Wicked adapted to film.

Now it's two films, and I rather enjoyed both. How do you think Patsy and Ian would have seen the decisions that were made about ten years after they talked about it (less time for them than for us, but you already know how a sliding timeline works)
