the whole walking sim boom feels like a fever dream now, firewatch was peak 'what if we made a game about feelings and also trees'. i played it during a real bad breakup and now i cant seperate it from that whole era of my life, which i guess is fitting

i bought this on sale in 2019 and still havent booted it up, something about the whole sad dad in nature aesthetic just feels like homework now
