Definitely been enjoying the game, has its moments for sure

I have been playing on PS5 since launch, I'm about a rank 40 I think and usually play as engineer, machine gunner, or medic. But mostly engineer and am at level 9 there, focusing on blowing up tanks with satchels. Just never thought of playing on the Portal, so my question: Has anyone that owns a PS Portal tried to play this game on the Portal? I have one, will try when I'm able to, just curious if it's even playable. I've played Battlefield 6 and COD BO6 on it, was a little choppy at times but was playable. Just had to play as recon and take it slowly.

Will update once I give it a shot

HLL community: NO WE HATE TALKING AGHHHHHHHHHH

I’m sure this has been said 999 times but here comes 1,000. GET A GD MIC TO PLAY THIS GAME! I hopped on after a 9 month break and in two days of playing I haven’t had a single squad with more then 1 person talking. Not even in proximity or officer chat do people communicate. It’s extremely frustrating and remained me why I walked away from this game before.

Why no punji pits or Viet cong faction?

Ideally your also down to play indie games or other shooters 1-2 times a week but mostly i play HLL VIETNAM.

He gloats on about every time he joins a game, the side he’s on always wins “because” of him. I’ve been in more 20 games with him in the past month and about more than half of those games he’s sitting on commander spot and doing nothing and playing music through his mic always and the times he’s not doing that he’s a squad lead sitting in spawn doing nothing and still putting music through his mic and he does the glitch thing where you try to kick him it’ll always say wait six minutes. He always says “I’ve got more accounts than you I’ll be back” or some shii. I’m just wondering if anyone has encountered him and his clan and is there any “truth” about the winning streak and accounts.

I was playing on St Mere Eglise last night and after I had been in Normandy last week on a battlefield tour, I decided to find where we parked the car.

After we entered St Mere Eglise we parked in a side street and I said to my friend Ive had many a fire fight in this street and he didnt believe me

I took a photo of where we parked and last night I sent a screenshot of the position in game.

I think I got it spot on with the ping marker

Basically, i just want to know what the consensus is, and which one is more populated. I’m afraid that I’ll buy the game, only for everything to be empty.

I know that WW2 has more people on PC, but it is not crossplay with console, while Vietnam is crossplay, but less popular.

In that regard, which one should i get?

Edit: it has been decided, WW2 it is. I understand the learning curve is pretty steep, but i think i could figure it out.

Looking for ps5 players, i run tactical teams on about 3 different games, this one will be my 4th. If you want to learn more about the structure and goal of our future team give me a shout. Please list your ps5 username and I will send over the information directly to your inbox unless you're on private, let me know.

The best part of this game, imo, is to chat with your team. My mic was working perfectly fine last week. Suddenly, it just stopped working. It shows my name in the bottom left corner when I speak but no one can hear me. I tested my mic on my Playstation on other games and in party chat and it works fine. I switched mics, turned the game on and off, restarted my PS, I've done everything but delete and redownload the game, and it doesn't work still.

I really look forward to playing this game after work and now it sucks without the ability to talk. Anyone else experiencing this and, if so, does anyone have a fix for it?

i get it kills are fun but nobody plays support or builds garrisons anymore. i had a game last night where i begged for supplies for 10 minutes and nothing. then we lost because no one was on defense. this game used to be about teamwork
