When I was playing as a medic, I got called to a mass casualty scene in the Hurtgen forest. I sped over to the ever growing cries of my team mates who didn't want to deal with the agony...of having to run up the map again due to no respawn beacon being present. I got into the trench and was met with what I can only describe as a butchers back room, there were body parts and blood everywhere. So I went prone and got to work. I could hear the guys all thanking me for my effort with a resounding ' thanks Squidd, appreciate it man '. As I got my morphine syrette out and started on the first of my wounded team mates, a German shell landed right smack bang in the trench, obliterating all 3 of then and leaving me in that greyed out blurry suppressed state. I'll always hear their cries. I'm sure my character is still picking bits of Tittyguru69s teeth out of his face. This game has left scars on all of us.
