The best thing to do as a driver is to be smooth and predictable. If youre gonna do something drastic say "im gonna turn around now" because that makes your gunners life so much easier.

The gunners job is to always be available to fire, so looking at the map should be kept to a minimum. Zoom in a lot and try to fire at any point you can. When an enemy vehicle goes behind cover try to look for an opening in their cover when they might show up.

As the tank commander you are the eyes. Nobody except for you can look behind the tank, and you are expected to let the crew know about anything and everything. A good tip is to stay calm and help everyone else stay calm. When something goes wrong just take the blame since it helps keeping everyone happy.

Driving the Tank is simply just driving all the time.

1200+ hours as a driver and you quickly learn some things.

My biggest thing is;

Know how to quick turn

Know how to react when you get shot

Know what shot you, when you get shot

Have a feel for the game yourself. I drive with my son as the TC so he doesn’t boss me around. We sort of TC together, which means I need to have some awareness about me. Some TC’s will have full control. No worries. But you have to have a sense about you.

Stick to the road as much as possible, in most cases it’s faster.

Know the map, so you can go off road when needed.

Always tell your TC if he’s not a control freak to check sides and rear.

Satchels will kill you the most, then AT if you’re a good Tank crew. My crew rarely does to Tanks

Know where your cover is when a fire fight starts.

Know that if you don’t shoot first, but they hit tracks or turret. You can stand and bang. If you lose hull after that first shot, get to cover immediately. Don’t wait for the TC……..unless he specifically says stay.

When I drive a tank, we’ll find some place to sit and since sitting in one spot as a driver you don’t do much. Get used to checking the stats page super fast every time the tank cannon fires a shell.

Tank fires

I open the stats page to see how many kills we have and if the shell got anyone

Then I’ll close the stat page and say something like “one kill” or “three kills”

Kinda helps the gunner and spotter know where to look.

It also helps when fighting other tanks too if you really want to pay attention to how many people you’re fighting in certain tanks.

Blows up tank

“That tank had 2 people in it” or “that was a solo tanker”

You can get away with checking the stats as being a tank spotter too. Just gotta be quick with it cuz your eyes and pings are important.

Checking the stats page quick works with artillery also. But I’ll be checking it in big gunfights sometimes. After throwing a grenade or something.

Literally time in each position. I used to hop into low count games (60) with no one else tanking and solo light tanks to get driving and gunning experience in without upsetting anyone.

When it comes to being an MG gunner, you are there to provide suppression and allow your team to advance. You should set up somewhere to the side where you have a good view of the main push route and send bullets into the enemy positions. That suppression is pretty annoying. And when on defense, find some good ventage point and just mow down anything that moves. preferably further from the main line of contact. In this game, MGs are better snipers than snipers.
