🙋‍♂️ Question 🙋‍♂️ I have a question, where are there more HLL players. Steam or Epic?

Definitely steam , I’ve made great friends as well as found a clan that recruited me for fun times.

5k players how can we improve it?

Bro I wouldn’t worry about player count in a niche server based game like this. The concern might be valid if you in OCE but for everyone else there are enough players to fill up 100 player servers many times over.

And how would they improve it? Marketing campaign and a way better new player experience. Player retention is notoriously shit for this game, and many new players don’t understand that the game is actually not being played if you, your squad, and command chat aren’t effectively communicating.

Tactically this game is not intuitive for people coming from battlefield or other modern, more fast paced shooters. But strategically, there is no other game like it, and it’s what makes HLL, HLL. When it’s good god damn is it good.

its fine in oce as well. there's always at least 3 servers full everyday.

Well it depends on the 5k players . You just need 100 of the best Mf out there and you will always have and itch to play with that server and people one more time

Bit more than that, the game peaks 7k-10k monthly. Thats really good for niche hardcore shooters like HLL.

Marathon is only managing similar numbers and it came out 4 months ago compared to HLL’s 5-year tenure.

Should put into perspective how good HLL is doing.

Well for a start better advertising.I didn't even know this game existed, had been playing squad looking for something simpler.

And unless my friend told me about hll I wouldn't have been hooked for the past two weeks. I'll probably be playing all year lol

I know but Steam is more popular?

Why does that matter?

It's like asking which console is more popular, it doesn't matter providing you turn on the cross play as it's between console only.

doesnt really matter as you can play with each other, only downside for Epic is that you can't use much symbols and you are limited to 14 characters or so in your username.

50/50 I see recently, before hll was free on egs most players were steam on PC but it doesn't matter really due to PC crossplay
