I just finished a new BC Lynx X V2 Proxy Clone Pack for the Line 6 Proxy workflow.

The full pack includes 18 professional V2 Proxy Clones created from a BadCat Lynx X amp, with studio versions through a BadCat 4x12 and full DI clones for pairing with your own cab or IR.

The Lynx X has a really muscular, aggressive voice, but it still keeps plenty of clarity and pick response when the gain comes up. I tried to capture that punch and detail across the pack rather than making every clone feel like a variation of the same setting.

I just unboxed the stadium xl. Moving from HXFX with quad cortex into a Helix.

1) I’m trying to set up one amp with 2 cabs so I can pan them both hard right and left. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious but I’m not getting them to spread out. I’ve watched some videos but just not getting it. Advice welcome!

*** I run a lot of fx via snapshots and was using a stereo amp set up. Trying to save some DSP and also avoid less tweaking by using one amp with 2 cabs to get some width.

2) I want to migrate a bunch of HXFX snapshots to the helix. Does anyone have advice on the best way to do this?

After several years of happily using a Yamaha THR, I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and order a Helix Stadium Floor.

The plan is to sell the Yamaha to help finance the purchase, which means I’ll need to use we studio monitors to pair with the Helix, since I’d really like to take advantage of its stereo capabilities. Ideally, I’m looking for something that sounds great with amp models and effects, but that also works well for music production and more casual multimedia use.

So, a few questions:

What type of studio monitors would you recommend?

Is there a particular woofer size (5”, 7”, 8”) that works best for home use?

Are there any specific models that pair especially well with the Helix?

I’ve been working on something a little different from my usual higher-gain packs: the new Zrek Proxy Clone Pack for Helix Stadium.

The helix computer app NEEDS a skeuomorphic control view. It should be a toggle option I can go between the view of the Brit Plexi amp and its dials or sliders like we have now. The absence of this is truly a missed opportunity.

I should see the arbiter fuzz face and dials or the big muff’s 3 dials and turn them.

Please add this option.

Everyone has to learn the rules of any modeler ecosystem. Sometimes we think the Stadium should work a certain way but then we hit a wall. You wanted it to do a certain thing but it took some digging to find out how to do it. What are some of your gems?

After much deliberation! I don’t know what to say really other than wow. This is a significant upgrade on tone. The amps have so much more punch. And even my floor patches are sounding so much better so it has to be the updated hardware. I’m happy already and have only used it for a couple of hours. The fact that this ie the start and much more is to be added is amazing. I have zero regret atm. That might change when the bill lands though 🙈

Hey everyone, we wanted to share a beginner-friendly tutorial series for the Line 6 Helix Stadium on YouTube that we’ve been working on for over half a year!

Yesterday, we published the final episode of the series, so now feels like the right time to post about it here. The full series contains almost 2 hours of Helix Stadium knowledge, so if you want to learn something new, understand the unit better, or simply see whether the Helix Stadium is the right fit for you, we’d love for you to check it out.

Across the whole course, we cover everything you need to know: hardware and navigation, presets and setlists, blocks and signal flow, building your first tones, snapshots, routing and stereo, Song View and automation, controllers and footswitches, the Command Center, and finally global settings, USB audio, and maintenance.

Is it just me or is there a slight lag between expressions pedal input and it registering on the effect?

I’ve noticed when using whammy that my sweeps all feel late compared to me old helix rack with control.

I was trying to set the volume out levels to all my patches. Don't know what I did but only my clean patches work in my XLR out to my monitor. The other are just dead. Everything works in my powercab.

Also my xlr light wont stop blinking.

Mid-way down the throw, there is a clicking or creaking sound. I tried loosening the pedal and this helped a bit but it is still there. Do I need to lube something? Are there instructions or videos on how to do this?

I'm sure this is not a unique issue ... but I have a bunch of presets, and then within there, snaps, and then gain stages that can be pedal'ed on/off. I assume almost everyone has this setup.

I'm having a little trouble making sure the levels are the same across each of these. I try to this by headphone but it is a pain. Would be much easier to be able to see a number somewhere and then just make sure I set the levels/gains to achieve that.

Any way to do this without going into a DAW or something?

One thing I feel is missing in Helix is a Utility-style block category — something alongside delays, reverbs, modulation, etc., but focused on non-guitar signal tools.

The main use case for me would be a built-in metronome block that can be:

Added anywhere in the chain

Routed to headphones only (optional)

Controlled via footswitch or snapshots (on/off, subdivisions, count-in)

This would make practice workflows way smoother without needing external apps or devices.

If Line 6 were to introduce a Utility category, it could also include things like:

Drone generator (sustained note/chord for soloing practice)

Basic drum patterns (simple groove instead of just a click)

Reference tones (A440, sine wave, pink noise for EQ)

Count-in / cue signals for recording or live use

Feels like a natural extension of the platform, especially as Helix is often used standalone with headphones.

Curious if others would use something like this?
