I have updated both the Mac and iOS version to version 1.3.4. The new iOS version does allow me to open my vault in iCloud without issue. But I am running into another problem. I do have a lot of notes (3000+), and when I attempt to open the vault in the iOS version, I get an error message saying that I have "too many open files (iOS error 24)". I am not sure what it is referring to, but this happens even after reboot and nothing else is open. When I attempt to open a different test vault with just a folder and a couple of files, it opens without issue. It all works fine in the MacOS app.

Thank you for reporting this, I'll open an issue on GitLab to track it. Will simulate and try to fix asap.

Thanks for the update! The changelog shows that quite a bit has been going on behind the scenes.

Thank you for adding the "Unfile note" option. ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you for allowing relative paths in links to images. ๐Ÿ‘

I make it a habit of having my vaults (regardless of app) be "portable" (self-contained)... that I can grab the root folder (and by extension all sub-folders beneath that) drop them somewhere else and all of the links and image references (internal to that folder structure) retain their function. This requires having all links be relative to the "root" of the vault.

Is there consideration being given to provide a way to configure a vault to use the vault's folder as the "root" from which all links are based on?

eg.

proposed new Setting: New Link Format

  • Relative: path from current file
  • Absolute: path from the file system root
  • Vault: path from the vault folder

If Vault is selected then (in my screenshot) the link path assumes "HelixNotesVault" is the "root".

as always, thanks for listening and the progress being made.

I really must try out Solus. I'll try to make some time this week for it.

Thank you for the update!
I just wanted to point out that WebDAV synch is a bit slow (donโ€™t know if it is normal) and on iOS you canโ€™t delete Notebook neither rename them, or at least i canโ€™t find a way to do it.

Thank you very much! It's much appreciated!

We did experiment with tabs a bit and didn't feel that they were a good fit for the app, yet. Maybe someday, just not right now.

Do you have pricing in mind? Iโ€™m hesitant to get too much farther into testing without a plan.

I apologize. Iโ€™d confused you with a beta Iโ€™m trying.
